The primary element used in this current line of earrings and pins is the traditional origami crane. The cranes are folded using a variety of Japanese Yuzen papers. A Thai Mulberry paper is used for the leaves on the pins. Gold and silver plated metals, sterling silver, Swarovski crystals and hand formed ceramic elements are also used in the work. Earwires are made of Surgical Steel. All work is folded and assembled by the artist.

All earrings are coated with a polycrylic medium to improve paper durability and to provide moisture and fade resistance.
